Cellulose Insulation

Environmentally Friendly

Cellulose is environmentally friendly with a lifetime warranty, non-toxic, permanently non-flammable, and resistant to rodents, insects, and mold. The material replicates the texture of paper mache and stays dense which gives you a stronger layer of insulation. Our insulation eliminates the voids and air pockets common with other insulation materials and also effectively reduces sound from room to room. The fibers can be blown over existing insulation, filling the voids which often have developed with older insulation. Cellulose applied in a continuous seamless blanket achieves the highest possible R-value per inch of any fibrous insulation. Cellulose is also humidity friendly and disperses moisture throughout the cavity it has been filled in, which other commonly used materials cannot claim. Altogether, we believe that cellulose represents the best total value, dollar for dollar, among common competing insulations.

Safety Approved

Our premium cellulose blown-in insulation is equipped with fire retardant and rodent repellent spray to cover all possible problems. The fiber is chemically treated with non-toxic borate compounds (20% by weight) to resist insects and mold as well. This ensures the safety of your family as well as maintaining the longest lasting insulation in your home. The Cellulose Insulation Manufacturers Association (CIMA) claims that insulating a 1500 sq.ft. house with cellulose will recycle as much newspaper as an individual will consume in 40 years. Many professionals consider cellulose to be more fire-safe than fiberglass. This claim rests on the fact that cellulose fibers are more tightly packed, effectively choking wall cavities of combustion air, preventing the spread of fire through framing cavities and also providing a greater resistance to air leakage.
